DESCRIPTION:BOOK TICKETS FOR CLARE HAMMOND\n  \n‘a pianist of extraordinary gifts’ Gramophone \nClare Hammond returns to Lichfield once again for a programme full of flare and fire. Recognised for her imaginative playing and communicative performance style\, Clare is an established recording artist\, prize-winner and worldwide recitalist. Her notable appearances include those at the BBC Proms and she has appeared as concerto soloist with BBC NOW\, London Philharmonic\, BBC Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras. \nClare recently founded the Gloucestershire Piano Trust to support her ongoing work in schools and prisons\, which reaches around 4\,000 schoolchildren and 300 prisoners each year. Her recital this evening features a short work that was co-created by prisoners at HMP Oakwood and composer Michael Betteridge.
