Ticket Information
Tickets purchased over the telephone or online can be emailed at the time of booking and may be printed or simply shown on a mobile phone on entry. Alternatively, tickets can be collected on the door of the event from 30 minutes before the start time. Tickets purchased in person will be emailed, or if that is not possible, made available for collection on the door of the respective event. Please note, we do not have a printer on site.
Ticket Deals
Groups of 10+ receive a 10% ticket discount. Ticket offers for Students, Unemployed and Under 30s will be made available in the run-up to the Festival, subject to availability – please see event listings for details.
On occasion, we run promotional offers that may reduce ticket prices at our discretion. Orders placed before promotions are not eligible to receive new promotions or discounts.
We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorised, altered, or ineligible use of the offer, and to modify or cancel any promotion at any time.
Running Times/Intervals
Listed running times are approximate. Those listed include any intervals.
Latecomers
Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the venue until after the interval (where applicable), or until a suitable break in the performance. Latecomers, if admitted, may be required to occupy alternative seats. No refunds will be given in the event of late arrival.
Recordings/Digital Devices
The use of cameras and mobile phones for recording Festival events is strictly prohibited.
All events may be filmed or recorded by the Festival or performing artists. Should you wish to opt out of this, please speak to a staff member at the event.
Mobile telephones and digital watch alarms must be switched off in the auditorium at all times.
Ticket Holders
Unless otherwise specified in the brochure, all attendees to ticketed events must possess a valid ticket, including parents at family events and babes in arms.
Festival staff reserve the right to refuse admission of the ticket holder to the premises, or to request the ticket holder to move seats and/or leave the premises and to take any appropriate action to enforce such a request.
Tickets should be retained as they may be required for re-admission.
Seating Plans
The Festival reserves the right to alter seating plan arrangements where necessary to accommodate individual events in non-traditional venue spaces. If there is a seating issue, please report this to the Duty Manager.
Accessibility
Please inform our Box Office team of your individual needs at time of booking so that we may offer any assistance required during your visit.
All of our venues have wheelchair access/a limited number of wheelchair spaces available. In addition, please note that a dedicated number of accessible seats are held off online/public sale: these are bookable by email/phone only – please contact us for further details.
Admittance
For your safety, and as part of our conditions of entry, bag searches may be conducted at certain events . Failure to comply will result in refusal of entry.
Only food and drink purchased at Festival events may be consumed, with the exception of Shakespeare on the West Lawn where picnics are encouraged.
Animals are not permitted within Festival venues, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets may not be refunded once purchased. Unwanted tickets may be exchanged for alternative Festival events to the same value or a higher value with the difference paid. Exchange fees may apply. No change or credit can be given when exchanged for a lower value. Returned tickets for sold-out shows may be offered for resale.
Additional ticket protection can be purchased via Secure My Booking at the point of sale, offering refunds in the event of personal incapacity, illness, adverse weather, travel delays, emergencies, or similar permitted circumstances. Requests for refunds through this protection should be directed to www.securemybooking.com. From 31st May 2026, this provision will be made by Protect Group; more information can be found at www.protect.group/
We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you if an event is cancelled or rescheduled, but you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to check whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, and we have no liability for any failure to notify you.
Cancellation/Programme Alterations
Changes to the programme information & prices in event listings are correct at the time of going to print or being published on our website. Please check details when booking your tickets.
Unforeseen circumstances may result in programme changes, and running times may vary. The Festival may alter or vary the programme, artists, pricing, and timings without consultation or compensation, though we will endeavour to inform ticket holders of changes in advance where possible.
If the performance is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of the Festival, Lichfield Festival will not be liable for compensation whatsoever, other than a possible percentage or maximum refund of the value of the ticket to the ticket holder.
Events Outside of our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any postponement, cancellation, or other changes that are caused by events outside our reasonable control. This may include strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport, impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks and the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government, including any/all changes to the prevailing Covid-19 regulations.
