Lichfield Cathedral

Our magnificent flagship venue for large events - the only medieval three-spired Cathedral in the UK, with its own very special 1300-year history.

An eleven-minute walk from Lichfield City Station. There are several car parks close by including those at Bird Street and Shaw Lane. Please visit the Cathedral's website for full details on visiting hours and tours outside of the Festival.

The Hub at St Mary's

Market Square, Lichfield, WS13 6LG
The Hub at St Mary’s is in the heart of Lichfield on the historic Market Square above the new library and just a six-minute walk from Lichfield City Station. The performance space on the mezzanine is stunning with acoustics to match. There are many City Centre car parks close by, including Bird Street and Lombard Street car parks.

St Michael’s Church

Church Street, Lichfield, WS13 6ED
St Michael’s is an active parish church, whose churchyard is now preserved as a wildlife area. A church has stood on this site since 1190. It is an eight-minute walk from Lichfield City Station. There is limited parking at St Michael's Church itself but extensive parking at Redcourt Car Park in Gresley Row, a four-minute walk away.

Wade Street Church

Wade Street is a growing city centre church involved in all aspects of the local community. Its raised stage and small balcony makes it the perfect venue for our Young Artist Series. It is a five-minute walk from Lichfield City Station. Nearby car-parks are located near the Bus Station and on Bird Street.

Lichfield Guildhall

Lichfield Guildhall is a historic building in the centre of Lichfield and is a Grade II listed building. A five-minute walk from Lichfield City Station, nearby car-parks are located near the Bus Station and on Bird Street.

The George Hotel

The George Hotel is a charming Georgian coaching inn with a large function room which is perfect of hosting events within our Literature Festival programme. A seven-minute walk from Lichfield City Station, the Hotel is located adjacent to Bird Street car park.

Minster Hall

Minster Hall Performing Arts Centre, Dam Street, Lichfield, WS13 6AE
Minster Hall opened in September 2024 as a new multi-use performing arts space for Lichfield Cathedral School. The new facility includes a theatre/performance space, several music classrooms, a rehearsal space and a recording studio. The venue is located off Minster Pool Walk, adjacent to Bird Street car park.
