Private donors can sponsor as individuals or join together with friends to sponsor as a group.  Sponsorship of an event usually starts at around £500 although there are opportunities to sponsor an individual instrument or singer at some of the bigger orchestral and choral events in the cathedral with a more modest contribution. Of course, you can also donate any amount as a general gift to the Festival.

In memoriam

Honour someone who has touched your life with a concert or event dedicated to their memory.  Pay homage to their love of the arts and bring memories alive with their favourite music.

Gift Aid

Donations from individuals who are subject to income tax are extremely valuable as we are able to claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you donate through the Gift Aid Scheme.  There is no additional cost to you but Gift Aid will increase the value of your donation by 25% – a significant boost for the causes you care about.  All you need to do is sign a simple Gift Aid declaration which we will send you.
