Our Impact in 2024

In 2024, Lichfield Festival brought over 100 outstanding performances and community events to our historic city, increasing access to the arts and uniting hearts and minds in the universal language of music.

Inspired by the music of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, hundreds of children from three Staffordshire Primary Schools and a cohort of teenagers from one Staffordshire Secondary School also took part in two separate creative projects, performing original monologues to Festival audiences, and creating an original string quartet composition performed in Lichfield Cathedral.

With 96% of audiences rating the ‘Quality of Events’ as ‘Very good’ or ‘Good’, and 93% rating Lichfield Festival 8 or higher when asked if they would recommend it to a friend or family member, we look forward to another year of welcoming world-class talent to Lichfield.
