Igniting Creativity at Lichfield’s Creative Careers Day
Our Creative Careers Day and Webinar, presented in collaboration with Lichfield Arts, was an exciting event designed to give young people and emerging creatives the chance to explore diverse career options within the creative industries.
Held as a two-part event, the first event welcomed 80 young people from schools across Lichfield and the surrounding areas , offering a packed programme of exciting activities focused on creative careers, pathways into the industry, and developing essential creative skills.
The Creative Careers Day featured a panel discussion with professionals from across the creative industries, live performances from Shireenah Ingram and Company Apidae, speed mentoring, and a range of interactive workshops designed to spark creativity and build confidence.
In the evening, the event continued with a public webinar, offering further inspiration and advice from a wide range of creative professionals. Speakers included Nikki Riggon, Head of Programme at Punch Records; Claire Pinder-Smith, Curriculum Manager for Creative Arts at South Staffordshire College; Mia Coss, Stage Manager; Jessi Bates-Mcintyre, Actress; Simon Horton, Actor and TV Presenter; Rumbidzai Savanhu, Artist and Facilitator; and Matt Buckingham, Illustrator, Author, and Lecturer at Staffordshire University.
