Book Review – First Class Murder by Robin Stevens

This is the captivating third book of the murder most unladylike series. Hazel and Daisy board a magnificent train (called the orient express) with Hazels father Vincent Wong. Hazel Wong is studious, quietly brilliant and the vice president of the detective society. The president, Daisy Wells, is an outgoing, forthright schoolgirl on a mission to prove that she is one of the great detectives of her time. Vincent does not want them doing any detecting on there relaxing holiday, but that plan backfires. When a murder has been revealed. As the Orient Express sweeps across Europe with its elegant dining car and luxurious sleeping compartments, Daisy and Hazel try to unravel the destruction, but as they get closer to finding out who the perpetrator was something or someone was in their way.

Il Mysterioso was an enigma to everyone. What was he hiding? And what of the other characters? Mrs Vitellius, Madame Melinda, and Mr Strange are these people who they say they are or are they hiding some deeper secrets. Amongst all the confusion of the murder, something else was going on. There was a spy on the loose…

This is a delightful mystery that had me captivated from the moment they boarded the train. I just could not put it down. A must read!
