Children from Willows Primary School in Lichfield engaged in learning the trumpet for a performance with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band at Lichfield Cathedral, as part of the Lichfield Festival. This opportunity was provided to twenty Year 5 pupils through the festival’s Aspire learning program, offering free tuition and instruments. This collaboration aimed to remove financial barriers to arts access, promoting confidence, creativity, and educational attainment among the children.
