Young Artist Series
Percussionist Hsuan Wu was born in Taiwan. She recently finished her postgraduate studies with distinction at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she also received the Anthony Cross Memorial Prize. An experienced collaborative musician, she enjoys working with ensembles including the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, the Thallein Ensemble and Perano Duo.
Her performance to close our Young Artist Series will be a feast for both the ears and eyes – a programme of exciting repertoire for marimba, tom-toms and a variety of other drums, as well as multi-media and body percussion!
