Amiri Harewood is an exciting young classical pianist offering fresh, honest ideas and diverse programmes. Currently studying at the Royal College of Music on a full scholarship under the tutelage of Danny Driver, he holds the Ann Driver Trust Scholarship, supported by the Victor Dandaleh Foundation.
In an already burgeoning career, Amiri has played the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Chineke! orchestra, as well as being a Tabor Piano Ambassador for the Leeds Piano Competition. He has also recently been announced as a new YCAT artist for the 24-25 onwards.
His programme will feature Beethoven Piano Sonata, Op. 109 and the magnificent Mussorgsky tour de force Pictures at an Exhibition.
