Our former Festival Associate Artist, Danny Driver, appears at our Chamber Festival for the first time to play Haydn F minor Variations, Schubert Impromptu No. 3 in B-flat major D. 935, and, to celebrate the release of his new recording of the work, J.S. Bach Goldberg Variations BWV 988.
Recognised internationally as an artist of sophistication, insight and musical depth, Driver’s studies at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music inspired his holistic approach to performance, from which he derives a vibrant brand of programming that he brings to concert halls and music festivals across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.
Driver’s 2024-25 season engagements include re-invitations to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, solo recitals at Wigmore Hall and the Oxford International Piano Series, and his New York City debut recital at Carnegie Hall.
