A candle-lit Cathedral concert to end both our 2024 season and to celebrate Associate Artist Danny Driver’s immense three-year contribution to the Festival.
After an incredible series of 14 concerts with us since 2021, and two recitals this year (see also Event 5C), Danny’s playing has enthralled Lichfield audiences and tonight’s closing concert is not to be missed!
For his final Associate Artist performance, as the sun sets on the last evening of our 11-day July 2024 programme, Danny’s reflective programme will feature music inspired by nightfall, including popular works by J.S. Bach and Nocturne settings by Chopin and Fauré.
