Jack Hancher is a rising star of the classical guitar and his playing has been described as a ‘poet and a painter, colouring sounds out of the guitar as if his imagination and the guitar were one’ by Gendai Guitar Magazine.
In 2022, he won the prestigious Gold Medal at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition, becoming just the third guitarist to win the award.
Jack releases his debut album in 2024 on the Deux-Elles label, and his programme today features French and Spanish classical guitar works by Albéniz, Ravel and Satie.
