Kieran Gunter is an award-winning performer, composer and arranger currently based in London. A guitarist at ease in a great many styles, his Festival programme showcases that versatility and takes us on a journey starting in Europe with J.S. Bach and Sanz, across to South America and the Brazilian influences of Villa-Lobos and Jobim, ending in the USA with the jazz classics of Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington.

Kieran graduated from Leeds College of Music’s iconic jazz course and is a previous winner of the Outstanding Individual Soloist award at the Great North Jazz Festival.
