In celebration of our first Festival of the decade, the creative partnership of Resident Artists Jessica Walker and Joseph Atkins travel back a century to the 1920s – another time of seismic change and reinvention – for a specially-curated afternoon coffee cabaret at The Hub at St Mary’s.

The Roaring 20s ushered in the Jazz Age, the iconic Flapper dress, Les Années Folles and the Weimar Cabaret, where one Marlene Dietrich first appeared. A time of prosperity, creativity and hope, it led to an explosion of new and rarely-rivalled music. Expect songs spanning the globe and the emotions, including numbers by Cole Porter, Ira Gershwin, Noel Coward, Friedrich Hollaender, Charles Trenet and much more…
