It’s the age-old question, “What if Frank Sinatra had sung the theme tune to Fireman Sam?”

Sam Every and his band are reimagining all of the best-loved, most iconic TV theme tunes as big band classics –

Gladiators, but its 60s-style jazz blues
Match of The Day as a Count Basie swinger
Coronation Street, but it’s a smoochy jazz ballad
Thomas the Tank Engine mixed with Duke Ellington’s Take the A-Train

Some of the hottest young jazz talent in the UK will take you on a whirlwind tour of these TV classics, and others including The Muppets, Doctor Who, Balamory, Antiques Roadshow, Fireman Sam and The Vicar of Dibley – like you’ve never heard them before. This fun, family-friendly concert is a must for jazz fans, and is a great entry point for those new to the genre.

The Sam Every Big Band is one of the most exciting young big bands performing in the UK today. They made their London club debut in 2019, perform sell-out shows across the UK and are regulars at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho and the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s.
