The third Young Artist in our 2024 wind season is award-winning bassoon player, Siping Guo.
In 2023, Siping was the recipient of several notable accolades, including the prestigious Munster Trust Scholarship, the Neil Black Award, and selection for the Munster Trust Recital Scheme. He was also winner of the highly competitive Royal College of Music Concerto competition and is now also a Drake Calleja Scholar.
Together with pianist Apolline Khou, his programme will include works by C.P.E. Bach, Weber and the Saint-Saëns Bassoon Sonata.
