Sofía Gómez Alberto is a Spanish violinist and violist currently studying for her Masters at the Royal College of Music. She is also one of the violinists taking part in the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s Pathway Scheme for the 2023/2024 season and already freelances with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Performing alongside pianist Svitlana Kosenko, her programme will include two major violin works – Saint-Saëns Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso and Strauss Violin Sonata – together with Rebecca Clarke’s Viola Sonata.
