Returning to the Festival after two wonderful performances in 2021 and 2022 are Trio Mazzolini. Shortly after their formation in 2019, they were awarded a Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music – a position they retained for the 2021/22 academic year – and are now much in demand across the UK and Canada. Here, the Trio are joined by special guests on viola (Daichi Yoshimura) and double bass (Emma Prince) for a full-length Young Artist programme that includes the much-loved Schubert Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667 – the ‘Trout’ Quintet – as well as a first half of Mozart and a special piano trio arrangement of Ravel’s orchestral masterpiece, La Valse.
