As we conclude Lichfield Festival 2026…

As the final notes sound on Lichfield Festival 2026, we’re taking a moment to look back on the whirlwind of events that have filled the last fortnight. Lichfield Festival holds a special place in the hearts of our local audiences and loyal supporters, and we always strive to reach new people and share the joy of world-class music in stunning venues, supported by a welcoming and dedicated team.

As the Festival winds down for another year, we truly couldn’t do it without our staff team, Festival Board, freelance staff, volunteers, technical team, concert management team, venue staff, performers, and everyone else who helps bring the Festival to life. And most importantly, our audiences!

Over the last 13 days, we’ve sold more than 8,000 tickets across 60 events, watched six choirs compete for the title of Midlands Choir of the Year, welcomed thousands of visitors to our Hidden Depths exhibition, and worked with more than 150 participants from community groups, schools, and the wider public through workshops and other activities. And that’s only part of the story.

Whatever events you attended, or however you contributed to the success of Lichfield Festival, we hope you had a wonderful time and want to say a huge THANK YOU!
