LIZZIE BALL – violin/voice JAMES PEARSON – piano – A Celebration of Grappelli, Shearing and friends

Long-term friends and musical collaborators James Pearson (pianist and Artistic Director of Ronnie Scott’s) and violinist/vocalist Lizzie Ball’s finale to their 3-year residency at the Festival is a tribute to legendary French jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli and his own creative partnerships.

‘The grandfather of jazz violinists’ toured the world right up until his death, just shy of his 90th birthday – and this musical tour de force is based on his life, music and his collaborations with British pianist George Shearing and many others.
