PALISANDER – Recorder Quartet – Double, Double Toil & Trouble

In a performance featuring music by Tartini, JS Bach and Hildegard von Bingen, alongside Renaissance consort music and contemporary works, Palisander explore the historic relationship between music and the magical spectrum, including elements of mathematics, philosophy and the occult.

A hit at last year’s Festival – and now our Associate Early Music Ensemble – Palisander are a vibrant young ensemble who perform largely from memory on recorders up to six feet tall!
