NICOLA TALLIS – Young Elizabeth

Elizabeth I’s story is well known. But queenship was by no means a certain path for Henry VIII’s younger daughter.

Historian Nicola Tallis joins us to talk about her latest book, which draws on primary sources – including writings by Elizabeth herself – to present the heart racing story of her youth as she steered through perilous waters towards England’s throne.

Nicola will be interviewed by Jo Durrant, award-winning presenter of the independent arts & science podcast Jo Durrant’s Beautiful Universe and a now regular Festival visitor!
