SIR WILLARD WHITE AND THE BRODSKY QUARTET

Jamaican-born bass Sir Willard White is one of the great all-round musical entertainers of our era, as dazzling when performing much-loved classics from the Great American Songbook, as he is on the stages of the world’s great opera houses. Expect an eclectic evening of jazz, musical theatre, classical and evergreen pop standards: an unforgettable night from a Knight with a voice for the ages, full of favourites including Ol’ Man River, spirituals and folksongs, highlights from Porgy & Bess and a touch of Sinatra magic via the iconic My Way.

Sir Willard White is joined by the extraordinary Brodsky Quartet, now in an incredible sixth decade of music-making at the very highest level, for the final concert of their superb three-year Festival residency.
