Japanese guitarist Tohi Harada's programme brings an eclectic mix of works, including pieces by Dowland, Walton and J.S.Bach.

Our newest Festival Associate Artists, the Paddington Trio return to Lichfield for a programme entitled To an Old Friend, featuring ‘dedicated’ works by Pärt and Shostakovich, alongside Tchaikovsky Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50, which was written in honour of the great artist, Nikolai Rubinstein.

Winner of the 2025 Hastings International Piano Competition, Canadian pianist Ryan Zhu makes his Festival debut with works by Schumann, Beethoven Sonata in F minor Op. 2 No. 1 and Brahms Variations on a Theme by Paganini, Op. 35

Festival favourite, Clare Hammond, returns to our Chamber Weekend for a typically eclectic programme of works by Chopin and Janacek, alongside Rachmaninoff Études-Tableaux, Op. 33 and a solo piano arrangement of Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite.

Royal Philharmonic Society award-winning Chameleon Quartet trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. These four talented wind players will showcase their various skills on 12 different instruments in a programme featuring music by Saint-Saëns, Dvorak and J. S. Bach.

Kindly supported by the Royal Over-Seas League (winners of the ROSL 2025 Ensemble Prize), rising strings stars the Regency Quartet make their Lichfield debut with Haydn String Quartet Op. 33 No. 1 in B minor and Ravel String Quartet in F major.

Two former Festival Young Artists combine for an exciting programme of original works and transcriptions, as Aaron Akugbo and BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist Ryan Corbett bring us music by Marcello, Piazzolla and Fauré.
