One of the UK's brightest French horn talents, Zoë Tweed studied at the Royal Academy of Music and has recently taken up a position as 3rd Horn with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She appears today with thanks to the Countess of Munster Trust Recital Scheme to play works by York Bowen and Piazzolla, accompanied by pianist Julian Chan.

Having started their first adventure together at the Paddington Station, the Paddington Trio won First Prize in the 70th Royal Over-Seas League Competition for Strings & Piano Ensemble. One of the most exciting chamber ensembles of their generation, the Trio has been recognized in international competitions and live performances for their fresh interpretations and exuberant energy. Their Lichfield programme features Haydn and Mendelssohn 'Trio No. 1 in D minor'.
Beethoven/Vienna competition prize-winner, pianist Leon McCawley, returns to our Chamber Weekend after his wonderful debut in 2022 to close four days of music with works by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Liszt's arrangement of J.S. Bach 'Organ Prelude and Fugue in A minor', and Schumann Sonata 'No. 2 in G minor'
